Its jacket’s concentricity and uniform lead core’s rearward weight distribution both grant it extraordinary rotational stability. The HPBT’s 0.590 G1 ballistic coefficient (or more accurately its 0.296 G7 BC, since it has a boat tail) means the bullet reliably reaches almost 1,300 yards before transitioning to subsonic. Zero at 500 yards and prepare to be impressed by a trajectory that pinnacles at around 19.4” (assuming 1.5” sight height).
