If you’re the proud owner of a Taurus Judge or Smith & Wesson Governor revolver, you know that is can be tough to pick out a good combination of .45 Long Colt and .410 bore shotshell ammunition. There are so many variations of each that picking out ammunition becomes a chore! Luckily, Winchester Defender offers this 20-round combo pack: 10 rounds each of defensive .45LC and .410 bore ammunition.
The .45 Long Colt ammunition included fires the PDX1 Bonded Supreme Elite, a bullet design used by the FBI as their primary service round. Each of the 10 cartridges carries a a 225 grain jacketed hollow point (JHP) bullet in a reloadable, boxer-primed brass case. The bullet’s jacket notches guide expansion on impact.
The included shotshells are 2-1/2” .410 bore shells, also from Winchester’s Supreme Elite line. Each shell is loaded with 12 pellets of plated BB shot and 3 of Winchester’s exclusive Defense Disc projectiles. This combination provides a balance of spread and penetration for optimal defensive performance.
