The Power-Point’s alloyed lead core makes it durable enough to deliver consistently deep penetration, and its jacket is strategically notched and contoured to promote deleteriously wide terminal expansion across a wide range of velocities. At 64 grains the Power-Point manages to achieve a muzzle velocity of 3,020 fps. This enables it to retain at least 1,000 ft lbs of kinetic energy (the recommended minimum for Bambi) until approximately 102 yards – plenty of room to work with!
