These 7.62x54r rounds are 148 grain, making them pretty lightweight for the cartridge size. At this weight these rounds can reach terrific speeds and are still heavy enough to basically annihilate your target. These are FMJ rounds, so they don’t expand but simply penetrate and keep on flying, so make sure you’ve got a solid backstop in place. Without a good backstop, rifle rounds can travel quite a distance before stopping. Each round has a muzzle velocity of 2785 feet per second. This ammunition is made for target practice, tactical training, and plinking.
