More Details About Our 400 Rounds of 150gr FMJ 30-06 Springfield M1 Garand Ammo by Sellier & Bellot
If you've just picked up a certified M1 Garand from the CMP, then you'll want to invest in some of these new-production rounds from Sellier & Bellot to keep it running right for decades. Sellier & Bellot is a Czech company with a history dating back to 1825. Their experience in mass production allows them to make quality ammunition like these replica loads and offer them at an affordable price. This .30-06 Springfield ammunition itself is based on the classic M2 Ball load which was standard issue in the US military until the 1950s. As a result, the ammo is an excellent choice for running through your transferrable Browning M1919 or newly designed Browning BAR hunting rifle for practice.
Specifications call for a 150-grain FMJ projectile with a gilding metal jacket and a flat base. This bullet is sleek, simple, and will provide uniform ballistics for simple sight tracking and manageable recoil. Each projectile is crimped into a reloadable brass casing that has been properly annealed to flex when fired for flexibility, repeatable muzzle velocity, and reloading viability. The casing houses clean-burning propellant which is sparked by a non-corrosive Boxer primer. This style of primer contains no mercury or other caustic elements which could eat away at your barrel and internal parts over time.

- Is this ammo safe to fire from a M1 from 1943? I know the grain needs to be less than the average seen today because of the old chamber Posted On: 10/17/2022 By: Ryan
- Thanks for reaching out Ryan! This 30-06 ammo is specifically designed for M1 Garand rifles. Its chamber pressure is low enough that it won't damage the operating rod. Some modern commercial loads are safe for the M1 Garand, but as a matter of course I exclusively recommend M2 Ball spec ammo like this for the classic rifle.
