This round’s 88 grain bullet is a simple yet effective jacketed hollow point. Its lead core and copper-alloy jacket make it completely nonmagnetic, so you’re free to train with this ammo at any commercial range you please. But if you instead rely on the JHP for self-defense, then you can expect its jacket’s notched rim to split apart evenly as it yields to uniform terminal expansion.
UMC series ammunition is loaded with Remington’s new brass cases, which are noncorrosive Boxer-primed and perfect for reloading projects.
