More Details About This Remington 62gr HP .223 Ammo
Finally – 223 Rem ammunition that will reflect just how capably you can aim your AR-15. This American-made match-grade ammo by Remington dishes out flat trajectories so you can cut rings around bullseyes!
This cartridge features a 62 grain hollow point match projectile. Its form-fitted lead core and concentric copper jacket keep it stabilized over long distances. Its heavier weight provides more of the sweet momentum that resists the effects of wind deflection. Its narrow meplat and sleek jacket enable the 0.205 G1 BC bullet to reach 200 yards in just a quarter of a second, and then drop to about 10” at 300 yards afterward.
A hollow point match bullet may resemble a jacketed hollow point, but they’re not the same thing. This bullet will not widen out if it hits a critter. A coyote wouldn’t be very pleased about getting hit with an HP, and a rodent probably wouldn’t notice the difference. Even so, you could pick a better bullet if you’re going for a clean kill on small game.
Precision Match series ammunition features the highest grade of brass cases that come out of Remington’s Arkansas factory. Match Boxer primers and select powder both do their parts to promote tight groups.
