- Q & A
In 1816 a young man by the name of Eliphalet Remington decided to make his own gun, so he set about drawing up a design, then used his father’s forge to build the gun itself. When his musket was complete he entered a shooting competition with it. Eliphalet won second place in that competition, and although he probably hoped for first, his musket had drawn the attention of those present, and orders began pouring in. He had a choice to make: fill the orders, or stop with just one. He chose to fill them, and the Remington Arms Company was founded.
These Remington rounds are made for your 20-gauge shotgun. Each shotshell is 2 ¾” in length and filled with #8 lead buckshot. These rounds have a 7/8 ounce load which is powerful enough to propel pellets towards targets with killing force while light enough to reduce felt recoil. With less felt recoil it’s easier to make accurate shots, especially follow-up shots. Each of these rounds leaves the barrel of your shotgun with a muzzle velocity of 1225 feet per second. This ammunition is specifically made by Remington as a game load, meant for taking down small game such as rabbits. It’s also a good target load.
When you place your order for this single box of ammunition from Remington you get 25 rounds. With 25 rounds you can kill a couple dozen rabbits or send lead down-range into stationary targets for a fun afternoon at your favorite outdoor shooting spot. Of course, just think what you could do with even more ammunition. We’re just saying, you might want to consider buying more than one box. Today Remington is the oldest, largest constantly-operating firearms and ammunition manufacturer in the United States and has half a dozen factories throughout the South. Each location has a specific function, and ammunition is manufactured at their factory in Lonoke, Arkansas. Whether you want to go hunting or just blow away stationary targets, order now, and feed your 20-gauge shotgun.
