300 rounds of stopping power at your fingertips!

The 1986 FBI Miami Shootout affected both the FBI and the gun world at large. On that day a pair of well-armed serial bank robbers led a group of 8 FBI agent on a car chase. The agents were on a rolling stakeout specifically going after the robbers and ended up forcing a stop to the chase. It ended in a bloody firefight on the streets of Miami. Both robbers were shot early on but continued to fight, managing to shoot all but one of the agents before finally succumbing to their own wounds. In the aftermath the FBI decided their agents needed more powerful rounds, and four years later the .40 S&W was created.

These particular .40 S&W rounds are manufactured by PMC – Precision Manufactured Cartridge. Each round weighs in at 165 grain which makes these medium-weight for the cartridge size. Being medium-weight means these rounds are light enough to travel at higher speeds than their heavier counterparts but still heavy enough to hit targets solidly. These are FMJ, Full Metal Jacket, rounds and so do not expand on impact. Always be sure you know your target and what is beyond it – and have a good backstop in place during range time. This ammunition is great for target practice and plinking.

When you order this box of ammunition from PMC you get 300 rounds. That’s enough ammunition to work on accuracy and grouping, practice firing with your weaker hand, and still have some left over to punch holes in empty soda cans and water jugs. And because these rounds are produced using virgin brass cases with boxer primer you can collect your spent brass, reload it, and get even more range time. Each of these rounds produces a muzzle velocity of 989 feet per second and muzzle energy of 358 foot-pounds. PMC manufactures ammunition at their factories in Angang and Dongrae, South Korea. Order now to keep your .40 S&W well-fed.
