More Details About This Nosler Ammunition 150gr Nosler Ballistic Tip 30-30 Win Ammo
The 30-30 Winchester – possibly the most American hunting cartridge on the face of the Earth! If you hunt boar, bear and deer, then Nosler has loaded precisely the 30/30 ammo you need to start doing your best work!
This cartridge is loaded with Nosler’s 150 grain Ballistic Tip. First things first: It is a round nose profile Ballistic Tip, and accordingly safe to load in a lever-action rifle. Though hard, the blunt polymer tip does not risk igniting the primer it butts up against in a tubular magazine. The bullet’s 2,100 fps muzzle velocity, boat tail base and resultant 0.236 G1 ballistic coefficient mean that it will hold on to at least 1,000 ft lbs of kinetic energy until it reaches approximately 117 yards.
The Ballistic Tip is engineered for devastating terminal ballistics. Its polymer tip slams into its lead-alloy core’s nose cavity on impact, which causes uniform terminal expansion thanks to the bullet’s tapered jacket. The jacket’s thick base acts to promote wider diameter expansion, and also spares the bullet from becoming deformed under pressure before it can exit the barrel.
Nosler’s Oregon-made polymer-tipped 30-30 hunting ammo is completed by high-quality reloadable brass cases, sensitive Boxer primers and low-fouling propellant. Order a box and get cracking!

Shooters Reviews
Excellent product, perfect for medium to moderately large game. It can even bring down an elk, moose or, black bear, however, questionable for bringing down a large moose, or, a 1300 lb. Grizzly.
