Reliable, pretty clean burning range and competition ammo
on 7/26/2017I shoot a lot, including weekly competition. I use Magtech because it meets my three major criteria: no feeding or ejection problems;, reasonably clean burning powder means little fouling; and cost-per-round of 20 cents max. The non-negotiable for me is a brass case because I reload when the weather is nice - and I just don't like steel or aluminum cases. Do not confuse this ammo with Maxxtech, which for me is waaay too dirty.

have bought about 4000 from AFS so far (before the price issue) never a problem, great customer service, fast delivery. to date no FTF FTE...great for the range. have shot in many types of 9mm never an issue. gotta wait though for the prices to settle but good to know AFS has stock ready to go if i want to spend. great job guys.
Great Ammo for G19
on 10/27/2012Was skeptical about the ammo because of price but other reviewers (majority) rated it high. Ordered 1000 115g and received the order on time and at first glance the ammo it looks well made not even a blemish on the cartridges unlike WWB. Went to the range and the ammo shot well with no issus at all and was able to group well considering I'm not the greatest shot. What I find is that it is cleaner with than the UMC and WWB. For the quality and price, a must buy for range ammo and will buy again from ammoforsale.com .

I put my order in on Sunday - UPS dropped off the package this afternoon. on 6/8/2012This ammo is great for target shooting. I'm finished with my last batch of 1000 and haven't had any problems with this ammo. I use this stuff in a Glock 19, and a Keltec Sub2000 and it goes bang every time. At $199 on sale, You can't beat that! Shipping was good and fast even to IL. I will buy again for sure. First like many others I was surprised how fast this got to me, less than three day given the fact that it was ordered on a weekend.
At the range the ammo proved to be pretty clean and very accurate. This will be on my reorder list. In the red all day....7 yrds, 10 yrds, 15 yrds.

on 1/8/2012This ammo has been great. I'm a little over half way finished with my last batch of 1000 and haven't had any problems with this ammo. I had heard that Magtech could be dirty ammo, but I haven't had that experience. I use this stuff in a Glock 17, Ruger SR9C and a Keltec Sub2000 and it goes bang each and every time, and the guns clean up as easily as with any other ammo I've used. At $199 on sale, it's as cheap as you can find anywhere. With the Hickok45 discount from Youtube at the end of 2011, it was unbeatable. Shipping was also good and fast. I will buy again for sure.

on 12/4/2011I have been working my way through the 1,000 rounds I purchased a few months back. Both AmmoForSale and the Magtech ammo receive top marks. The bulk ammo arrived in a timely manner. The Magtech has performed flawlessly in my Glock 19... not one malfunction in nearly a 1,000 rounds. The Magtech burns clean, not sure if it's the powder or the relatively high pressure (or both). The firearm cleans up in a snap, even after firing 350 rounds non-stop. I will be purchasing more today.

on 11/21/2011I bought this because Magtech has a good reputation. I know that they were Jerry Miculek's ammo sponsor (may still be). The World's Fastest Revolver Shooter ought to have good ammo. I've only fired 150-200 rounds but there were no failures of any kind with my S&W M&P. I am also impressed with the brass. The quality appears excellent and feels slick. I half expected to drop the rounds when I was loading them. (I didn't though.) Good to Excellent Ammo for the price in my opinion.

- Magtech manufactures this 9mm ammo with factory new components, including boxer primed brass which is unfired. This brass may be recovered if the shooter wishes to reload the brass. Their Full Metal Cased bullet (identical to FMJ) will not stick to a magnet and is an excellent choice for an indoor range.

- Magtech's 9mm 115 gr FMC (full metal case which is synonymous with full metal jacket) ammunition will work great in your Glock 19 Compact and is an ideal practice and/or training round. Magtech ammunition makes a great product and their quality controls at their state of the art factory in Brazil are top notch. FMJ ammunition is what most people shoot for a typical day of target practice at the range as it's reliable and affordable. If you're looking for something for home defense, you'll want to look at ammunition which has a JHP projectile as it is intended for this purpose. Any of the 9mm ammunition listed on our site will work well in your Glock. Enjoy!
