This cartridge’s bullet is a little lighter than what’s considered standard for M33 ball spec: 624 grains as opposed to 660. Magtech recorded its 2,952 fps muzzle velocity with a 45” barrel, so you can expect a lower muzzle velocity with a standard Model 82A1. The full metal jacket projectile lacks any features that would have made it armor piercing, incendiary or explosive. Its absence of paint indicates that the FMJ has a copper-alloy shell, soft steel core, boat tail base and nothing else.
