More Details About Our 1000 Rounds of 147gr TMJ 9mm Ammo by Blazer
Blazer’s Clean-Fire 9mm ammunition is designed to keep your lungs in pristine condition! Both this ammo’s bullets and its primers make it ideal for high-volume target shooting at inadequately ventilated indoor ranges.
The “total metal jacket” sounds like it should be the same thing as the more common full metal jacket, but there is one key difference. Whereas the FMJ’s jacket leaves the base of its lead core exposed to boiling hot propellant gasses, the TMJ’s jacket does not. That’s why the heat of ignition doesn’t burn lead off of the TMJ’s core, which means you will keep your barrel cleaner in addition to not inhaling lead.
Lead. Barium. Antimony. These are all heavy metals commonly found inside primers. The Clean-Fire primer has not got any of those toxic substances, however, which only serves to preserve your respiratory health even further.
This ammunition is loaded with aircraft-grade aluminum cases. They make the ammo a little bit lighter, but the greater advantage to aluminum is a lower price tag. Just take note: Aluminum cases are absolutely useless as handloading components, so you might as well just leave them wherever they fall.
Blazer warns that this ammunition may cause firearm damage and/or serious injury if fired in carbine rifles.
