- Q & A
It was 1985 when the US Military decided to standardize standard issue sidearms as 9mm, and it wasn’t until 2005 that SOCOM (Special Operations COMmand) finally decided to do something about it. SOCOM wanted greater firepower for their men, so they began a series of studies. And when they got to the point of choosing a specific gun to issue, they had a list of requirements, one of which was that it absolutely had to be chambered in .45 ACP. The .45 ACP was once called a real “man stopper” by Army Ordnance member General John T. Thompson, and countless Navy SEALs count on it both for work and while at play.
For your .45 ACP, you need good quality, competitively priced ammunition so you can sling lead down-range all day long, whenever you want to. That’s where Armscor comes in. Based in the Philippines, Armscor is well-known for both firearms and ammunition, and distributes their products around the globe. They’re an ISO-9001 certified company and use state-of-the-art technology to manufacture all of their products. And because Armscor understands you want value in more ways than one, these are new production, brass-cased, boxer-primed rounds that can be reloaded.
One of the things you love about your .45 ACP is its immense power, and that means you prefer loading it with heavy rounds. At 230 grain, these are heavy, hard-hitting rounds. And because they’re FMJ rounds, they’re ideal for your target practice, tactical training, and plinking needs. Despite being heavy, they still have good speed with a muzzle velocity of 830 feet per second, and they’re solid training rounds with a muzzle energy of 352 foot-pounds. There are 1,000 rounds in this case, and if you think those will last long, you might be surprised just how fast you burn through them. Train affordably with your man-stopper; order Armscor.

Good practice ammo at a good price
on 1/21/2015I've run 1000+ rounds of this ammo through three M1911s - a 3", 4" and 5" - with no issues at all. Accuracy is fine for practice and reliability has been perfect. No dirtier than any other practice ammo and cleaner than some. Armscor has become one of my two go-to brands for practice .45ACP.
