More Details About Our 50 Rounds of 158gr SJSP .357 Mag Ammo by Aguila
Real versatile 357 Magnum ammunition, right here. It’s a safe bet for personal protection. It’s able to make life downright impossible for a wild hog. It’s also not so dearly priced that you’ll regret just sending its bullets at range targets!
This cartridge’s 158 grain bullet is designed for terminal expansion, although it is not a jacketed hollow point. It’s a semi-jacketed soft point, with a nonmagnetic copper-alloy shell that stops short of covering its sold lead core. When the malleable lead meets resistance from a soft medium – boat flesh, for example – it will deform, flatten down, and force the whole bullet to mushroom outward as it gouges a wide wound channel into the target. What jacket the SJSP has got does fortify it to reduce fragmentation and promote greater penetration depth.
When Aguila isn’t making ammunition for the Mexican military, they’re producing fine ammo for the civilian market at home and abroad. This ammunition is loaded with Aguila’s own brass cases, and its noncorrosive Boxer primers make those cases reloadable.
