More Details About Our 900 Rounds of 165gr FMJ FP .40 S&W Ammo by PMC
Here’s the perfect trove of 40 S&W ammo – just what you need if you’re fixing to do some serious target practice, or you want a stash of ball ammo in store for a rainy day.
This is good ammo, but its unique packaging is the first thing you’ll notice about it. PMC seals six 50-round boxes of ammo in a plastic sheath they call the “Battle Pack.” You get three battle packs in a case, and so long as you don’t cut them open they’re all set to keep your 40 S&W safe and dry for a very long time.
You might think this round’s 165 grain FMJ FP sounds more exotic than it really is. It’s just your standard target-grade full metal jacket with a flat point profile. If you’re shooting hanging targets, you’ll quickly notice that an FMJ FP punches a tidier hole through paper than a typical round nose FMJ. PMC doesn’t load magnetic handgun bullets, so this ammo is ready to roll at any range you post up in.
PMC manufactures their sporting ammunition in South Korea. They are a subsidiary of the Poongsan Corporation, which also fabricates non-ferrous metals and produces military ammo for the Korean military. In other words, PMC has the manufacturing capabilities to produce all of this ammo’s new reloadable brass cases and non-corrosive Boxer primers in-house!
