It’s the quintessential 22! This box of 500 cartridges hails from Aguila, which was founded in Mexico in 1961 and went on to become one of the world’s leading producers of rimfire ammo. (They also make ball ammo for Mexico’s military, but Ejército Mexicano has little use for 22 LR.)

This round is armed with a 38 grain bullet. Loaded to a well beyond supersonic muzzle velocity it is at once capable of cycling a semi-auto and establishing a flat trajectory for easier aiming.
