This is a light load, with a lightweight 115 grain bullet that accelerates to a velocity of 1,217 fps before clearing a handgun’s 4” barrel. The FMJ’s lead core is jacketed with copper-zinc alloy, thus making it hard enough to feed efficiently into a semi-automatic’s chamber and subsequently reduce fouling of the bore. It’s a simple projectile, albeit one that is totally steel-free and accordingly unable to attract a magnet.

This is factory fresh ammo, not suspicious military surplus, so you don’t have to spend a second worrying about whether its noncorrosive Boxer primers will rust out your firearm.
