More Details About This MaxxTech 115gr FMJ 9mm Ammo
MAXXTech is headquartered in the nation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Today the ISO 9001 certified company makes a wide range of rifle and handgun ammunition, including the range loads you see featured on this very webpage. Order the whole case and shoot one thing 500 times – or 500 things one time each. The choice is all yours!
This is a light load, with a lightweight 115 grain bullet that accelerates to a velocity of 1,217 fps before clearing a handgun’s 4” barrel. The FMJ’s lead core is jacketed with copper-zinc alloy, thus making it hard enough to feed efficiently into a semi-automatic’s chamber and subsequently reduce fouling of the bore. It’s a simple projectile, albeit one that is totally steel-free and accordingly unable to attract a magnet.
This is factory fresh ammo, not suspicious military surplus, so you don’t have to spend a second worrying about whether its noncorrosive Boxer primers will rust out your firearm. MAXXTech brass cases contain small metal steps that facilitate seating of the projectiles at the factory. They make handloading needlessly complicated, so consider this ammo’s cases single-use only.
