More Details About This Ammo Incorporated 660gr FMJ .50 BMG Ammo
Maybe you own a ULR Mini that’s dearly in need of your attention. Or maybe you’ve got a splendid Barrett because it’s similar to the M107 you used to lug around in the Army. Either way, we’ve got something that’s going to slap a big Cheshire Cat grin on your kisser. It’s 50 BMG by Ammo Inc.!
Ammo Inc. was founded in Arizona, but this particular ammo came from their factory up in idyllic Wisconsin. That’s where it was armed with 660 grain full metal jacket projectiles, which are unquestionably the simplest type of bullet a .50 cal rifle can fire. The non-expanding FMJ hits 2,950 fps muzzle velocity out of a 3’ barrel, so do expect considerably less power if you are indeed opening up your ULR Mini.
Are you a handloading type of character? Then Ammo Inc.’s own freshly minted brass ought to do you justice. Some folks look at the grayish brass around the case’s neck and reckon it must be previously fired, but that just ain’t the case. Ammo Inc. simply didn’t polish up the case after heat treating it.
