More Details About This PMC 147gr FMJ 9mm Ammo
It doesn’t matter if you call it 9mm, 9mm Luger, 9x19mm, or “that there ammo what goes in a Glock.” Thanks to PMC, you can have plenty of the stuff you need to blow holes through range targets and handload after the fact.
This ammunition features 147 grain projectiles. Heavier bullets are available for the 9mm, although 147 grains is pretty much the ceiling as far as full metal jackets are concerned. Choose this bullet weight for practice if you have already chosen it for self-defense. Alternatively, you may favor 147 grains if you want quieter performance (with a nod to suppressor enthusiasts).
PMC’s FMJs are nonmagnetic, and have the round nose profiles that feed readily into any pistol or carbine’s chamber. A round nose FMJ is far from the best pick for self-defense, although we acknowledge that any 9mm projectile has the capacity to neutralize a threat.
PMC charges up each round’s new brass case with a noncorrosive Boxer primer. The South Korean company makes all of their components in-house using primo raw materials. It’s highly standardized and just as dependable. Always a smart investment.
