More Details About This Turan 124gr FMJ 9mm Ammo
Turan has been in business since 1997. Not all of those years were spent making ammunition, as the Turkish company cut its teeth on the hunting rifle business. But now, over a quarter of a century later, Turan’s 9mm ammo can be found throughout Europe and the United States.
See the reason behind Turan’s success for yourself. Test out this 9mm ammunition the next time you lock and load at the handgun range! Each cartridge is outfitted with the noncorrosive Boxer primer, clean-sparking charge of double base propellant, and 124 grain full metal jacket it needs in order to achieve a consistent 1,214 fps muzzle velocity out of a 4” barrel. The FMJ lacks the features it would need to undergo terminal expansion, and as such isn’t an ideal bullet for defensive applications ( \which is not to say it wouldn’t leave a mark, however). Importantly, Turan makes a steel-free and nonmagnetic bullet that’s acceptable for use at all commercial ranges.
This ammunition is loaded with fresh and shiny brass cases – not empties that were scooped off the ground at Turkish military gun ranges.
