25 Rounds of 11/16 ounce #9 shot 410ga Ammo by Fiocchi

There are a lot of interesting 410 Bore self-defense shells on the market. We suppose this could qualify as one of them – if you’re only concerned about defending yourself against rodents, small birds, snakes and spiders, that is. That’s because Fiocchi designed this little red shell for taking down all sorts of delicate upland game!

This shell’s greater 3” length means that it stores 11/16 ounces of shot instead of the usual 1/2 ounces. That’s #9 shot, which is the smallest you’re probably going to find in factory-loaded ammo. Each 0.080” diameter pellet tears out of the muzzle at a rate of 1,140 fps, which means this shell’s collective muzzle energy is approximately 868 ft lbs. Respectable, all things considered.

This ammo’s highly standardized components deliver consistent muzzle velocities, and its hard and very round shot pellets promote satisfactorily tight pattern density. It’s reloadable, and it’s made in the USA!
