More Details About This Ammo Incorporated 110gr V-MAX .300 AAC Blackout Ammo
Are you looking for a humane 300 AAC Blackout cartridge for varmint hunting? Here it is! Ammo Inc. loads this round with the highly regarded V-MAX by Hornady, which delivers terminal fragmentation that kills varmints fast as lightning.
The 110 grain V-MAX delivers fine accuracy before it deals death to an unfortunate varmint. The bullet is extremely streamlined thanks to its sharp polymer tip and sleek jacket profile. It is also well balanced, as its swaged lead core is evenly distributed and its AMP jacket has virtually zero flaws in its concentricity.
The V-MAX’s polymer tip rests on the rim of its jacket, but the tip’s shaft also reaches deep down into the bullet’s core. It begins sliding down the cavity on impact, accumulating a substantial amount of energy before finally connecting with the core. At that point the tip forces the V-MAX to burst apart, sending small fragments of lead and copper outward in what can only be described as grenade-like terminal ballistics. And the V-MAX remains effective even at velocities as low as 1,600 fps!
Ammo Inc. outfits their varmint loads with reloadable brass cases, non-corrosive Boxer primers and Hyperclean Technology powder. They have factories in Arizona and Wisconsin, which makes this ammo 100 percent American-made.
