More Details About Our 20 Rounds of 150gr SP .350 Legend Ammo by Hornady
Some people say the 350 Legend looks like a crayon. We see the resemblance! But trust us: this BLACK series ammunition by Hornady is way, way more effective at knocking down whitetail than anything Crayola could ever come up with.
This round does deer dirty with the power of its 150 grain soft point projectile. That’s no ordinary soft point, of course. It is the InterLock, which is replete with features that enhance its accuracy and its lethality.
The InterLock wears a concentric, rotationally stable jacket, with a sleek profile that dramatically reduces the frontal air resistance it encounters in flight. Once fired from a 24” test barrel, this round’s bullet attains a respectable G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.233. Zero in at 250 yards with 1.5” high sights, and the trajectory shouldn’t climb higher than around 5.9”. Striking energy at that range is 927 ft lbs!
The InterLock is equipped to inflict a long wound channel. Between its InterLock ring and its cannelure, the bullet’s jacket is doubly secured to its one-piece lead core. The InterLock’s jacket is also tapered so it grows thinner toward its tip, and its upper section is strategically weakened by multiple inner grooves. Those features enable the bullet’s jacket to reliably split open at lower velocities, thus giving way to devastating terminal expansion.
