More Details About Our 1350 Rounds of 115gr FMJ 9mm Ammo by Wolf **STEEL CASES**
Handloaders! Are you looking for a great deal on brass-cased 9mm ammo that you can make full use of at your reloading station? Then look elsewhere! (But don’t leave our website.) That’s because despite its appearance, this 9mm ammo by Wolf is indeed loaded with steel cases.
This wallet-friendly 9mm ammo features bimetal cases, to be more precise. They’re almost entirely made out of steel, with a wafer-thin coating of copper wash that adds extra protection against corrosion in storage. (We personally like steel cases because we can use a magnet to clean up our range after the fun has ended.)
This ammo also has bimetal jackets. Bullets which substitute steel for copper are less expensive to manufacture, and they don’t suffer from any performance issues. But you can bet the farm that Wolf’s 115 grain FMJ bullets are going to attract a magnet, so plan out which ranges you take these rounds to accordingly.
Too many people are scared away by Berdan primers because they believe them to be corrosive. But you’re only going to find corrosive Berdan primers in old milsurp ammo – this new ammo by Wolf is as noncorrosive as anything else you’d find on a store shelf.
