More Details About Our 1000 Rounds of 62gr FMJ .223 Ammo by Winchester
Life hands you lemons all the time. But when you want a case of American-made 223 Rem target ammunition, you’ve got to reach out and take it! Well … not “take it,” per se, so much as “order it from AmmoForSale.com.”
If you’re a fan of 5.56x45 M855, then you’ll really appreciate what this 223 offers: the opportunity to train with highly similar ammunition at a range that bans steel-core bullets. This round’s full metal jacket weighs the same as the penetrator, but its lead core and copper jacket leave it wholly incapable of attracting a magnet.
A 55 grain FMJ usually has a G1 BC of around 0.248. This round’s heavier bullet has a higher G1 BC: 0.287. That means it’s better equipped to resist wind deflection, and drops around -3.14” 100 yards downrange of a 100-yard zero (assuming you’re peering through 1.5” high sights).
Winchester loads these bullseye pulverizers with polished reloadable brass cases, noncorrosive Boxer primers, and propellant that does a good job of minimizing carbon buildup. Fifty boxes per case of 1,000!
