1000 Rounds of 56gr FMJBT .223 Rem Ammo by Red Army Standard

The Red Army Standard brand originated a few years ago when Century Arms started importing quality steel cased 7.62x39 ammo from Russia. It proved a marked improvement over the steel cased fare that American shooters were best accustomed to, so Century Arms followed up on that success with this 223 Rem cartridge.

This round’s steel casing makes it a little easier on the wallet. Its casing’s thin layer of lacquer coating improves the fluidity with which this round feeds and ejects. This round’s shelf life is greatly improved by the military grade sealant that guards its primer and neck -- you can expect this case of ammo to fare well over the course of a couple of decades at least if you store it in good conditions.

This round has a 56 grain full metal jacket projectile. The bullet has a boat tail as well, so it’ll give you an easier time of things as you’re attempting to peg targets set up farther downrange.
