This is the M193 ammo target shooters love. Why do they love it? Because it’s great for target shooting! The 55 grain full metal jacket achieves a 3,180 fps muzzle velocity before proceeding to deliver good accuracy. The bullet is all lead and copper alloy – no penetrator tip, no steel bi-metal jacket, no ability to attract a magnet.
This isn’t military surplus ammo. It’s recently manufactured, attractively packaged, and meant for the commercial market. It is military-grade ammo, however, which is why its brand new brass cases are cosmetically discolored around their shoulders. The little red ring surrounding the noncorrosive Boxer primer is protective sealant – added security against moisture.
