More Details About Our 1000 Rounds of 55gr FMJ 5.56x45 Ammo by Wolf
The year 2020 made it difficult for a lot of shooters to get their hands on a steady supply of range ammo for their AR-15s. Some of them tried Wolf ammo for the first time, yet they may have taken issue with its magnetic projectiles or steel cases. Wolf Gold ammo has neither of these cost-saving features, however, so these 1,000 5.56x45 rounds are acceptable at indoor ranges – and good for reloading!
This 5.56 round’s 55 grain copper-jacketed bullet is loaded to a 3,250 fps muzzle velocity. If you have served our country you may find its performance similar to the M193, and that is certainly by design. A steel-free Wolf Gold bullet presents a comparatively reduced risk of ricocheting, and it feeds nice and smoothly before it combats leading of the rifling. This round’s FMJ bullet is ideal for putting holes through stationary targets when you wouldn’t benefit from expanding terminal performance.
Every time you fire one of these Taiwan-made rounds, your rifle will produce an empty brass case. Brass is the handloader’s medium of choice, of course, and it becomes even better with this case’s single flash hole for a Boxer primer. Wolf’s propellant is consistently loaded to M193 specs and won’t cake up your bore with excessive or corrosive residues.
