More Details About Our 1000 Rounds of 124gr FMJ 9mm Ammo by Wolf (STEEL CASES)
Steel cases. Steel-free bullets. The ultimate solution to affordable training at indoor gun ranges! This ammo was produced for Wolf by Ozkursan of Turkey, and it ought to deliver the juice out of any 9mm firearm that needs to be fired!
Steel costs less to produce than brass, which is why steel-cased ammo costs less to manufacture than brass-cased alternatives. Steel doesn’t expand like brass during ignition – hence the reason why it tends to allow more fouling into the action. It also doesn’t return to its original dimensions as effectively, which is why you shouldn’t bother trying to handload this ammo’s cases. The cases’ brass plating isn’t intended to be deceptive. It’s there for protection against corrosion, and it also makes the ammo look nicer!
Wolf’s bullets are usually bimetal-jacketed, which is just another way of saying they contain steel. Ozkursan’s 124 grain full metal jackets don’t have any steel in them, though. In other words, this ammo will let you open fire at all those snooty indoor ranges which don’t allow magnetic bullets in their lanes.
