Nothing fancy about this ammo. The 115 grain full metal jacket achieves normal muzzle velocity (1,200 fps; 4” test barrel), so the round’s chamber pressure falls squarely within industry specifications for standard 9mm. The FMJ bullet consists of a lead core and brass jacket, which makes this ammo absolutely and completely nonmagnetic. The FMJ won’t expand after hitting its target, which means it’s more likely to over-penetrate than a JHP. (Even so, we’d rather have these cartridges in our mag during an emergency than nothing at all.)
