More Details About This Federal 124gr FMJ 9mm Ammo
If you don’t have 9mm ammunition, then you don’t have a problem! Your pals at AmmoForSale.com have a warehouse full of Federal Premium American Eagle, and we’ll send you as many 100-round boxes as you like so long as you … you know, give us money.
This ammo’s meant solely for punishing range targets, but Federal never cuts corners when it comes to the quality and assembly of their components. These noncorrosive Minnesota-made rounds are the synthesis of reloadable virgin brass cases, clean-burning powder and faithful Boxer primers. Each bullet weighs exactly (or extremely close to) 124 grains and will clear a 4” barrel’s muzzle at a velocity of approximately 1,150 fps.
The full metal jacket lacks the nose cavity it would need in order to exhibit terminal expansion – hence its suitability for target shooting and not self-defense – but it does deliver the consistent trajectory that makes lining up shots easy. If you were to cut one of the nonmagnetic bullets in half, you would only see its copper jacket and lead core – no steel!
